The national day for older people is celebrated on Sunday 6 October, but we want to keep the celebrations going for the whole month!
Our museum houses the largest collection of consumer culture in the world, featuring nostalgic everyday brands like Pears Soap and Typhoo. There's plenty to explore and reminisce about, as well as a Memory Trail at reception to highlight key items.
This event relates closely to the Museum's 'Living Brands' programme, which uses everyday heritage products as memory aids for those living with Dementia.
Tickets must be bought in advance for October dates via ArtTickets. Use code SILSUNDAY at checkout to activate the offer. General museum admission to the Time Tunnel, garden, gift shop and cafe is included.
