Display – The Grocer’s Top 100 Brands

We have launched a new exhibition featuring The Grocer’s ranking of the UK’s Top 100 Grocery Brands, on 21 May 2021. The exhibition is formed around Britain’s Biggest Brands, The Grocer’s annual list, which is instructed and shaped by the trends that informed the British public’s lockdown experiences.

The list, developed by The Grocer in association with NielsenIQ, shows how some brands came back into fashion in the pandemic, such as canned and frozen foods, and how others, like Starbucks, found success through adapting existing products or releasing new ones. Generally, we see that the British public relied more on brands that they are familiar with when stocking up for lockdown, but why is this?

The exhibition will present The Grocer’s ranking of Britain’s Biggest Brands and explain the trends that have characterised the last year of consumer choices.
